What You Will Do:
♦ Collaborate with an Agile DevSecOps team to deliver high-level solution guidance and application design leadership to support consistency and good development, design, and cloud practices.
♦ The team will work to modernize current and new applications development by breaking them down into loosely coupled micro-services and leveraging a continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline to enable an Agile DevOps Strategy.
♦ Design a modern logging and auditing framework to support system assessments and audits as part of the Authority to Operate (ATO) process.
♦ Lead technical meetings and working groups with the Government customer to identify technical requirements and document them for development.
♦ Create technical diagrams, documents, and architectures to memorialize solutions as part of project delivery.
♦ Contribute to Agile ceremonies/meetings supporting demonstrations of code/capabilities as needed by the Agile team and requested by the Government Client.
♦ Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What We Need:
♦ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or another STEM-related field. In place of a degree, will consider a combination of training, certifications, and years of experience.
♦ Minimum eight (8) years of related experience.
♦ In-depth knowledge in several areas: large-scale IT infrastructure design and integration, logistics services, network and systems integration, network operations, administration and engineering, and legacy systems modernization/migrations.
♦ Proven and successful implementation of architectural designs and strategies that migrated large enterprise systems and mainframes.
♦ Experience with Agile Scrum-based delivery model supported by cross-functional teams.
♦ In-depth experience using cloud-native development techniques and tools, microservice architectures, and supporting APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
♦ Development languages, Java, J2EE, Python, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, Spring Framework.
♦ Strong background in architecting large complex databases of structured and unstructured data sets in Cloud environments
Certifications:
♦ AWS (Amazon Web Services) Solutions Architect Certification (Associate or Professional).
Even Better:
♦ AWS Certifications (SysOps, Developer), or Specialty Certifications.
♦ Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification.
